FAQ: Personalisation

What does "Raised Based" mean?

It means you were raised in one place and are now based in another. You personalise your product by entering two locations (your "Raised" place and your "Based" place), creating a simple statement that tells your story.

How do I personalise my product?

Pick a product, choose your preferred design option, then enter your two locations, select their font and colour. We print what you submit, so please double-check spelling, capitalisation, and punctuation before placing the order.

FAQ: Order & Delivery

What is the return policy?

All products sold in our store are made to order and customised specifically for each customer based on the options selected (font, colour, text). Due to the personalised nature of these items, all customised products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, except in cases where the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, not as described, or incorrect due to our error, you may be entitled to a remedy (refund, replacement, or price reduction) depending on your location and the circumstances.

Please contact us at info@raisedbased.com as soon as possible after delivery (ideally within 14 days for delivery issues). This does not affect your statutory rights.

Can I change or cancel my order after checkout?

Because our products are made-to-order and personalised, orders typically can’t be changed or cancelled once they’re placed. If you’ve made a mistake, contact us immediately either via Contact page on the website or at info@raisedbased.com, and we’ll do our best to help, but changes aren’t guaranteed once production starts.

Why do we say our products are premium quality?

We describe our products as “premium quality” because we carefully select only the best items and ensure they are made from reliable materials and well-crafted. Every product is checked with attention to detail so that it meets our standards and offers you something genuinely better, not just in name but in everyday use.

Are your products organic / eco-friendly?

Some of our products use certified organic materials (for example, our organic cotton t-shirt and organic cotton tote). Certifications and material details are listed on each product page, so you can check the specifics for the item you’re buying.

Will I get tracking details?

When your order is dispatched, we’ll email you a dispatch confirmation. Tracking is included where available too, so you'll be able to track the delivery status of your order online with an assigned carrier.

When will I get my order?

Delivery times are individual for each product. Estimated delivery times are provided on each product page in the Delivery section. These timeframes are approximate only and are shown to help you make an informed purchase decision.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over £50.

For orders below this amount, our standard delivery rates apply:

Will my items arrive in one parcel?

Not always. If your order contains multiple items, they may be dispatched in separate parcels (sometimes from different locations).

What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

First, check your dispatch email (and tracking link if provided), check with household members/neighbours, and check any nominated safe place. If you still can’t locate your parcel, contact us either via Contact page on the website or at info@raisedbased.com with your order number and we’ll investigate with the carrier.

Which charities do you partner with?

Raised Based partners with Refugee Education UK (REUK), a registered UK charity (charity number 1132509) working to ensure refugee and asylum-seeking children and young people can access education and thrive in it. You can read more about our partnership on our Charity page.

Where can I see your contributions to charity to verify your claims?

You can verify our donations on our Charity page in the "Tracking Our Impact" section. We update this quarterly, and donations are made within 30 days of each quarter end (with a minimum of £250 per quarter guaranteed). Our first donation update is scheduled for June 2026.
